Friday Night shabbat

From June 1, 2017 - September 15, 2017

Friday night services are from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and are preceded by a pre-oneg at 5:30 p.m.

From September 22, 2017 - May 25, 2018

Friday night services are from 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. ,but we recommend that you come a few minutes earlier to meet fellow congregants, greet visitors and ensure a seat. Our Friday nights are a celebration of Shabbat and well-known for the emphasis we give to the “Joys”, rather than to the “Oys”.

Services always followed by a delicious Oneg.

Babysitting for children 3rd grade and younger is available most Fridays.

45 minute shabbat

Once a month, Temple Judea offers a shorter, but just as meaningful, worship experience at 5:30 p.m. for all its members.

got shabbat with cantor alicia stillman

Once a month at 5:45 PM we invite our youngest members and their families to enjoy a very special Shabbat designed just for them. Got Shabbat is an early service intended for parents and children ages 0 - Pre-K.  We celebrate Shabbat in the language of children;  with music, movement and rituals. A Shabbat dinner is often scheduled following Got Shabbat and we encourage our families to join. What a perfect way to begin forming a family tradition of celebrating Shabbat together.

Shabbat morning torah study

Saturday Shabbat mornings begin at 9:00 a.m. (9:30 a.m. in the summer months) with an intimate Torah study led by Rabbi Kapitulnik.  When there is a Bar or Bat Mitzvah celebration at 10:00 a.m., you are invited to join us.

Please plan on joining us for our "sweet-tooth" Oneg following Services.
